Mariah Lock

This is my first year as the school guidance counselor and Student Council Representative. I am very excited about this opportunity and the chance to work with some of the same students I had in elementary school now as high school students. I was raised in la Plata and graduated from La Plata and graduated from La Plata R-II. I am married and have three kids. I attended Northwest and Buena Vista to get my teaching license and received my masters from William Woods. I plan to go back to school next school year for another masters as I believe in being a life long learner. I love to shop, watch the Royals, and organize. This year I hope to see students get involved and be active throughout their high school years. Remember, the world is ran by those that show up! Go out and get involved! My favorite quote is "Be the change that you wish to see in the world." -Gandhi
